Affiliations with scientific companies - SIDO

For many years, SIDO has been affiliated to C.I.C. at National level, and WFO and FEO at International level. SIDO is an active member of the MOIP Network “Mediterranean Orthodontic Integration Project” operating in the Mediterranean area.

The WFO (World Federation of Orthodontists) has 109 affiliated organizations worldwide. The purpose of the WFO is to advance the art and science of orthodontics throughout the world. The WFO organizes International Orthodontic Congress to be held at least every five years.

La FEO European Federation of Orthodontics, was officially created in 1997 with the aim to improve cooperation between European Orthodontic Societies and promote Orthodontics and dento-facial Orthopaedics. At present, FEO has 22 Member Societies from an equal number of countries and offers every year a number of Awards to competent and young colleagues in order to encourage research and improve clinical practice.
